Demon's Run

When a good man goes to war
Night will fall and drown the sun
When a good man goes to war

Friendship dies and true love lies
Night will fall and the dark will rise
When a good man goes to war

Demons run, but count the cost
The battle's won, but the child is lost.

Woke up this morning with a sigh and went about my daily routine getting ready for my 7 am shift, and then, when I was down in the kitchen get the sausages and hashbrowns out of the freezer, I remembered. It's April 23. Impossible Astronaut Day. Dutifully, I marked myself up in silent salute to the Battling of the Silence.

Sorry, it's not particularly clear...

My fellow Whovian, Pond, took a while to notice but when she did she protested muchly with many "Why would you do that??" It was she who "kindly" marked me with black permanent marker (which I am happy to say is almost off all the way...should be gone by tomorrow night...).

At 11 o'clock break Tescoes came with our order so Pond and I had to leave our tea and go help unload. However, when we returned Weasley was sitting at the table eating her toast and she finally noticed my arms and almost choked on her toast. And then she sat and laughed...a lot.. apparently I made her day.

Lunch brought more inquiries from instructors and such and it was as I was eating in the conservatory that one of them asked me if the tally marks were of how many I had been battling  to which I calmly replied "how many what?"

At the moment, the wireless has gone funny which is super annoying.

On a completely different note, it seems to me I never told you that I went on a walk with Weasley quite some time ago, back in March when we still had snow. I took some pictures so you can see how high the drifts where....

Anyways, it's dinner in three minutes and I am quite hungry so I shall leave off here. I apologize that this blog does not have more Whovianness in it today...I was planning on it and then I couldn't be bothered ;) Perhaps I might go out later for texting and scones...who knows...
